While the Animalcare Veterinary Center is really like one big happy family, it’s also important that we have certain policies in place to protect our clients and patients, and to facilitate our ability to consistently provide the best available care and services. Our policies are as follows.




In order to allow each client and patient we serve the ample amount of time and attention they deserve, AnimalCare Veterinary Center operate primarily on a scheduled appointment basis. That said, we do welcome walk-ins whenever time and availability allows.

Emergency cases, both call ahead and walk-ins, are always given priority, which can sometimes result in the occasional appointment time delay. Please understand that we will make every attempt to see each client on time, barring any such emergency situation.

For your convenience, drop off appointments are available. This allows our busy clients to drop their pets off at a time that works best with their schedule, and leave the animal with us for a few hours. During their time with us, the pet will be examined and receive any scheduled treatments. When the appointment has been completed, a call is placed to the client to discuss any findings and arrange for pick up. We typically request that drop offs be done some time in the morning or at the time already reserved for admitted patients.





In order to ensure the safety of all of our patients, as well as our clients and staff members, we require that all pets visiting our clinic be up to date on all of their required vaccinations. We also request that all animals, including cats, remain on leashes or in pet carriers at all times while entering the clinic and waiting in the reception area. Some pets feel uneasy and anxious about trips to the vet and being around unfamiliar people and other animals. Ensuring that all animals are under the control of their owners helps to make our hospitals a safer, more comfortable place for all of our patients and clients.




At the Animal Veterinary Center payment is required in full at the time services are rendered. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept payment plans. For your convenience we accept a variety of payment options including Visa, MasterCard, personal checks and cash.
