If the medications are unrelated to the reason of the appointment, please give the medications to your pet. If your pet receives medications for the reason of the referral, please contact us before the appointment to check this.

Have you looked at our specialist serviced and are now wondering “How do I get a referral?”. The first step is to ask your vet and send them our information if they don’t have it on file. A referral can only be made by your primary care veterinary surgeon. This is easily done electronically via a widely used software most veterinary clinics use in Cyprus. This way, your vet can provide us will all the medical information we require in order to treat your pet and discuss the possible solutions at your appointment.

Making an appointment is easy. When we have received a referral from your vet, our reception team will usually contact you directly to schedule an appointment. Appointments are often available within 1-2 weeks, and immediately if your pet needs to be seen for an urgent condition.

Our hospital offers specialist surgery services. Therefore, our fees may differ from your regular veterinarian. Upon examination of your pet, you will be provided with a cost estimate for any proposed diagnostics and treatment.

You will be asked to pay a deposit, 30% of the high end of the estimate, and the balance will need to be paid at the time of the discharge. We will keep you informed of any changes in estimate during your pet’s stay.

This depends on the type of appointment you have scheduled with us. Your primary care vet will usually have sent documentation, reports and images to us electronically when requesting a referral appointment. A list of medications your pet is receiving (or the actual medications themselves) is helpful to make sure we accurately record them.

If your pet is on special food and is being admitted for surgery, please bring 2 days of their special diet with them.

If your pet is being admitted for surgery, they will most likely stay in the hospital overnight or until they are well enough to be discharged into your care. If your pet is coming for a consultation, diagnostics or a minor procedure, they will ned to stay with us for few hours but will likely be discharged to you the same day. We will discuss this with you at your consultation. In any case, for infection control purposes, we will not accept any personal belongings (leads, blankets, toys).

We accept payment via VISA and Mastercard debit and credit card, bank draft and cash. We do not accept cheques or American Express.
